Islands in the Fog

(Ulfrik Ormsson's Saga)

Defeated and homeless after the Battle of Hafrsfjord, the
resourceful and courageous Jarl Ulfrik Ormsson has led his people out of
Norway. Arriving at fog-shrouded islands of grasslands and sheep, he claims a
new home. Conflict erupts with his neighbors, but Ulfrik's battle-hardened
warriors stand their ground.

Years pass and Ulfrik's hall grows in power and renown. Warriors
from distant lands pledge their swords to him. His glory surpasses anything
seen on the forlorn islands known today as the Faeroes.

But success is like the scent of blood to a wolf.

Powerful neighbors grow jealous. Battle-lust begins to rise.
Forbidden love becomes the pretext for war, and soon Ulfrik's warriors are
fighting for their families and homes. Yet behind the simple aggression awaits
