Five assassins dropped by submarine in highland Scotland each one racing to be the first to get to a rendezvous in London where the prize is a million pound contract to kill. A secret civil service surviellance organisation monitoring threats to national security trying to find them and stop them at all costs. It's kill or be killed. It's that simple.
